Peebles Netball was established in September 2006 by Linda Nicholson. It is aimed at girls aged 11 years - 18 years. The Club coaches are Linda Nicholson and Chris Mackie.  Chris Mackie joined Linda in 2008 bringing her extensive experience from primary school coaching.  

The club enters teams in the ScottishYouth Cup, the Scottish Secondary Schools' Cup and the Edinburgh league. We also run the Borders District Squad.  We currently have 7 competitive teams. 

In 2008 we reached 4 national finals including club, school and District championships. Again in 2009 we reached the finals of both the Scottish Schools and Scottish Youth Cup championships, the only junior club in Scotland to do so.

From late August to early May we have 2 practices for team players each week. Tuesdays at the Gytes at 4pm - 5.30 pm is for team players aged S3 and upwards. Wednesdays at the Gytes at 4pm - 5.30pm is for girls in S1 and S2.  We have a "developers" practice on Fridays 4-5pm at Peebles High School.

Please note that on occasions Peebles Netball makes use of photos and videos at netball practices and matches.  Before teams play, all parents are given the opportunity to request that their child does not feature in photos and/or videos.  Unless advised otherwise, Peebles Netball will continue to include any of the team players in photos and videos for promotional, media and/or training purposes.
